It is rather impossible to describe our experience out in the ocean with the sperm whales of Dominica. Beforehand, we were a little hesitant about the ethics of getting in the water with them, our marvelous, dedicated, fun and charismatic guide, Jeff, was respectful of the whales and proud and excited to share his knowledge of them without disrupting their days. You could tell he is truly committed to the whales and providing a magical experience with them but not at their expense. It was also turn key and easy as we got picked up from the dock at our hotel and they provided wetsuits and snorkels. It was a big investment but worth it!
